If you had only one year left to live, what would you do?
When Stephen Levine posed this question to himself, it led to a profound, year-long experiment in conscious living that is fully revealed in his book, A Year to Live.
Over the last few years, I’ve had the pleasure of leading several groups of wonderful people through this very book and the 12 month experience turned out to be far richer and more profound than I could have ever imagined. Each time, I am changed.
The course is carefully designed to awaken you to life by living as if these are your final 365 days. The series of month-by-month practices, discussions and meditations help you live more fully in each moment.
Additionally, A Year to Live brings the inevitably of death into the full light of awareness. It’s no longer in the shadows or being fearfully ignored as if it won’t happen to us or our loved ones. Death is the teacher in plain sight. Prepare for its arrival and live more fully now.
Starting in November, I will be offering TWO yearlong classes - one meeting on Thursdays (starting Nov. 14th) and the other meeting on Saturdays (starting Nov.16th). This is your invitation to join me on an adventure that is unlike anything you’ve ever done before. It really is life changing.
For the greatest amount of accessibility, this will be an entirely virtual (Zoom) course.
The course fee is $1600 and payment plans are available.
If you are interested in having your own private group with friends/family, please reach out and I will happily create a day/time for you.
Please email info@sitwithshawnta.com with any questions and to secure your spot by NOVEMBER 11th.
Get the book and start reading! It's never too soon to begin and this book is easy to find on Amazon, Thrifbooks, World of Books, Audiobook and available via local libraries.
I assign chapters to be read and we have class every 2 weeks to discuss the pages and our thoughts.
Once we’ve finished the book, the real fun begins. You will be assigned coursework to do over four weeks time.
We then meet once a month to talk about the homework and whatever else comes up.
Class is held on the last Thursday or Saturday of the month, shifting to accommodate holidays.
