Creative Writing Workshops

It's the class you love, back for GOOD.  That's right, this is now a permanent and ongoing offering you can add to your weekend plans.   I decided to make it a date you (and I) can count on.  Each week I create an environment that is welcoming and actively encourages a lack of perfectionism.  Join me to practice letting go and writing simply for the fun of it.  No need to wait to be good enough.

My CREATIVE WRITING WORKSHOPS are for anyone with a desire to write - - no prior writing experience is necessary.  

Each class has a designated theme, a selection of curated poems that showcase the topic, prompts and timed writing sessions.  There is also space to share and receive feedback on your work, which remains OPTIONAL.  

You are not at all required to share what you have written.  No need to worry about that.

Creative writing classes provide an important opportunity:  to develop your confidence as a writer.  It’s a muscle that grows stronger each time you use it.

$50/class and each session will run 3 hours (10A - 1P PDT).

Monthly Death Cafés - 4th Wednesday of the month

5:00pm - 6:00pm PT / 8:00pm - 9:00pm ET  

A death café serves to provide a space to discuss our thoughts, feelings, ideas and responses to death and dying.  It's so difficult to have these conversations at home, with family + friends.  And when it does eventually happen, it's at the worst time possible - after a loss  It's my hope that if we begin talking about mortality and bring it out of the shadows, we'll learn a little and perhaps cope with it a bit better.  

Less fear and more ease.

Oh, it's also a good time to enjoy a snack!  Grab a beverage or something wonderful to eat and join the conversation.
